Changing British pounds

Hi all

most of the guides say that the easiest currencies to change are the $, Euro and Russian rouble.

Are British pounds widely accepted?

not especially, just in key currency exchange offices(at railway stations or city center.

Well... at least I know practically every big department store in Minsk has a currency exchange office with pounds on the list.

I would advise to bring Euro, it%26#39;s getting stronger and the exchange rate now is good:

1 Euro = 4060 BYR

The ATMs are everywhere in Minsk. You can also pay by credit card in most of the bars or restaurants but you need to keep some Belorussian cash to pay for taxi and other stuff
