transit visa or tourist visa

Hi

I will be arrived at Minsk at 1500 on 24Dec from lithuania and i will stay in a hotel in city centre for a night then i will be off to moscow by train at 2300 on 25 Dec. (probably hanging around in the city)

Do you think that I should get the transit visa ir toursit visa?

Transit visa will NOT be fine.

It gives you NO right to overnight in Belarus, but to head towards your destination. If you were moving through non-stop it would do, but here you need a tourist visa.
