Just wondering if anybody knows of any forums or groups in English about living in Minsk? Want to know about the daily happenings, events, activities, entertainment, etc.

Well, there certainly is a Where Minsk magazine available at hotels and at flights which is a huge 100 pages or so prospectus on different Minsk events and establishments.
From what I know Minsk is discussed on forums like this one (cannot list them here of course) - with coming or returning visitors asking each other and locals questions on better pastime here.
English is spoken here and at times suprisingly well, but the locals discuss everything like events and activities exclusively in Russian. So the problem here then lies in finding a proper local who would help with navigation (people are friendly by the way).
