Australian passport holder, consulate in Bucharest tells me I require visa, invitation letter etc.
1) Does anyone know of any hostels (as opposed to hotels) in Minsk or Brest?
2) If so, does anyone know whether they can issue invitation letters?
3) What have people found is the cheapest %26quot;travel company%26quot; to issue the invitationm letter?

Like I said on LP only top-end hotels issue invitation letters. The letter itself might cost from US 20 to 40 but firms normally require a booking through them, though often with a good discount.
