Hi
I will be needing a transit visa ONLY for Belarus.
I am travelling by train from Moscow to Warsaw through Belarus in November.
I am an Australian, still in Australia at the moment.
There is no Belarus consulate/embassy in Australia, does anyone know where/how i can apply for a Belarus transit visa here in Sydney??
Or, can i just get the Visa in Moscow?? WIll it take long??
Also, how much will a Belarus transit visa cost per person???

Nice to see an Aussie hear again))
Well , from my experience people from your part of the world arrange to apply at some point of their European itinerary. In Vilnius, Kiev for instance. They get a tourist visa all right and proceed.
Note that cost of the transit visa is the same as that of tourist visa and the latter gives you a right to overnight in Belarus.
I witnessed an American girl who had a hotel booking in Minsk and tried to apply for a transit visa to Belarus at MSQ Minsk Airport. Well, she was rejected and I had to give her my home details so as to enable her getting a guest visa.
So: choose the dates, address a travel agent, get the invitation, apply in Moscow or wherever, and travel))
