Shopping Centre Minsk

good morning

It is a couple of years since I was in Minsk, and I have read somewhere they have opened a new indoor shopping centre is this correct.

Usually work during the week and then spend the weekend in Minsk...so shopping is a must!

Actually the one that fits the description seems to be underground Stolitsa Shopping Mall. It is under Independence Square, 3 levels, shops, cafes...

Well, a nice waste of time who can afford it.

Thanks for your reply.....although am not sure about the last comment.....I work hard all week whilst I am in Belarus....and I enjoy browsing/buying goods to boost the economy and to let my family enjoy gifts I take home. So to me its not a waste!

So nice of you.

I was under impression that one can do some pretty good shopping in the UK or in France... Without having to work from dawn till dask to boost economy.

Anyway it is now in ruins.

there are lots of those shopping centres here:

Stolitsa, Atlantic, Europa, Most, Zerkalo and others.

There are Walmart-like superstores:

Hippo, Corona, Biggz, Prostore

anyway, most of goods there are overseas goods

so a foreigner would not be able to enjoy the results of recent Belarusian rouble devaluation :)

you%26#39;ll pay the same as at home(maybe even more)
