Is there any camp site?
What will a farmer say, do u think, when he wake up and see my camp site outside his window ;-)

For what I know, there are no regular camp sites in Belarus, but temporary camping sites for camping festivals.
If you manage through the night in a tent with locals not setting your tent alight (as a joke) that will be fortunate enough.
You don%26#39;t want to put a tent beside someone%26#39;s window, especially in the village. Have some locals accompany you.

Once I got into a car accident, our car jumped rally-style from the highway and landed in the field of a local farmer.
In an hour while we were waiting for the rescue truck the farmer showed around and started yelling for the compensation - two bottles of cheap local-made fruit wine))))
We nearly cracked up, he was drunk and said his wife made him go out and claim some drink from the people from the city(the car was new and nice-looking except for a smashed front and right wheel out))) He might have thought we were really well-off))
But everything was ok he calmed down in 30 min.

Thanks for the story - now I cant waite to do some camping beside a farmer ;-) It%26#39;s the small stories that keeps us alive. Have a beer ready, I will remember.

Well, my husband is a kind of farmer and I am sure if he saw a tent outside his window, he would invite the guests to have breakfast and taste %26quot;really natural food%26quot; as he calls it.
|||
Sure he would ;-)
Of cause I would never just put a tent up with out asking. Hee, you forgot to put you adress ;-)
Now I got you - the best place to se the buffalo outside the tourist places. I like it local.
thanks 4 your answer. I feel a bit more safe.

Well, if you really wish to do it , you can stay in our place. We live in the forest and the nearest village is about three kilometres from us. The conditions are quite spartan in terms of modern conveniences as we have recently started living there. But there is plenty to see and to do and it%26#39;s a new world. Welcome! The place is about 70 km from Minsk and it is not far from the motorway Grodno-Minsk.
My address is y.denis@tut.by.
